Caruthers Auto Sales and Towing is celebrating 24 years of business in Northwest Indiana. In May of 1997 Mr. & Mrs. Caruthers starting on small car lot in East Chicago Indiana. Six months later son, Michael purchased a 1979 Ford F350 tow truck. With that old wrecker they could get cars back to the lot from auctions. Soon after Michael started towing for motor clubs like AAA, Allstate,
and Geico. After years of hard work, in 2010 Michael started responding on calls for Indiana State Police, East Chicago PD, and soon after Lake County Sheriff's Dept. Now the company runs 2 locations to offer service to the motoring public.
